I’m super excited to update you on everything I’ve done with my Etsy store in October. The amount of money I’ve earned from my Etsy store in October probably won’t impress you but the big money will come later. All of this work I’ve done in October will pay off eventually. Here is my October 2024 Etsy store income report:
October 2024 Income Report
In October, I made $43.45 from 8 orders. I had 298 visits which gives me a conversion rate of 2.7%. Something happened in October behind the scenes at Etsy because there were a lot of people complaining on Facebook and Youtube about customers not being able to complete their orders. I think this may have affected my conversion rates and sales because I made half the amount of sales in October than I did in September despite having an increase in traffic.
I do not spend money on advertising, however, Etsy does their own advertising and they take out listing fees. The listing fees were $9.43 and their marketing fee was $1.69.

What Did I Do In October?
I’m really excited about all the stuff I got done in October. I created 40 new items to sell in my shop. I created display images, display videos, template PDFs and Canva guides for not only the 40 new items, but the other 50 items that I have created but haven’t listed in my shop yet. I have 3 more products to develop (for 10 different categories) and then I want to create bundles to sell similar items together for a discount (for example, they can buy 1 poster for $5, 2 posters for $8 or they can buy 3 posters for $12). A competitor store does this and it’s works well for them to get people to buy more.
Goals for November 2024
- Create 30 new items (3 items in 10 different categories)
- Create 20 bundles (2 bundles for each of the 10 categories)
- Create display images for 30 items plus the 20 bundles
- Create display videos for 30 items plus the 20 bundles
- Create PDFs for 30 items plus the 20 bundles
- Create Canva guides for 30 items plus the 20 bundles
- List 168 items in my Etsy shop
These goals are very ambitious but I’m excited to get all of these new products listed on my Etsy store. The products won’t make money sitting on my hard drive. It will cost at least $70 to list all 168 items on my Etsy shop but it will be worth the investment. I’m fully expecting to make at least $500 or more per month with these products. The only thing I’m worried about is that I’m leaving for a cruise at the end of November and won’t have access to the internet so I won’t be able to answer customer service emails. However, I don’t want to put my shop on vacation mode when I just got done adding all of these new listings. I should be able to find free Wifi on some of the islands we stop at so, as long as there aren’t any serious problems from the customers, I can just answer customer questions then. I guess I’ll worry about that when the time comes. First, I have to finish the rest of the products and create the marketing for them (display images & videos) before I can list them.
