Welcome to 2025 everybody! I swear the holidays just flew by and before I knew it, it was the middle of January. A lot has happened since my last post. I’ve been busier than ever and haven’t had much time to work on KDP, Merch or Etsy. Between November and December, my mom was diagnosed with kidney cancer and had surgery (she’s going to be OK), we took a 3 week cruise, we celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s & my birthday and I started a new diet & exercise routine. Whew! It’s been a lot!! And it’s not over yet, in another week, I’m leaving for another 2 1/2 week vacation (my parents thought that I should travel a lot before getting another dog – they are paying for these trips & I’m letting them, LOL!). I’m going to try to get caught up with all of these income reports before I leave next Tuesday. First up, it’s the November 2024 Amazon KDP Income Report:
November 2024 Income Report
In November 2024, I sold 39 books for a total income of $75.48. I published 6 new books and one of those took off and even in January I’m selling multiple of them each day. I had a total of 24 books in the bookshelf at the beginning of the month and I ended the month with 30 books in my bookshelf. In November, I had had 19 coloring books, 3 log books, 6 scrapbook paper pads and 2 journals. I sold 8 coloring books (34), 1 log books (3) and 2 scrapbook paper pads (2).
Advertising costs were a little higher than October but not too bad. My ACOS was low at 15.17% which seems to be the sweet spot. I spent $7.73 on ads which was a few dollars more than October and sold the same number of books – 6. I’m currently only advertising in the United States but, as I said in the last post, I am thinking about branching out into other countries. It might be a goal of mine for this year.

What Did I Do In November?
I managed to get a lot done in November despite being super busy. I was able to publish 6 books – 3 coloring books and 3 scrapbook paper pads. One of the coloring books is a big hit. I’ve been getting multiple sales of this book every day since the beginning of December and it has continued into January. I sold 5 of them today and a few days ago, I sold 9 in one day. You are going to be shocked when you see the December income report and even more shocked by the January income report (and the month is only half over). I’m not even sure why this particular coloring book took off – it’s no different than some of my other coloring books. I’ll discuss this book in more detail later and, hopefully, I can figure out why it’s popular and replicate it’s success.

I would also like to publish a 2024 yearly report for KDP, Merch & Etsy but I might have to hold off until February for those so don’t hold your breath.
