I was going to post this income report last week but then tragedy struck. My sweet beagle girl, Remington, got very sick and I had to put her down. She was going to turn 10 next month and I’ve had her since she was 9 weeks old. I don’t have kids and view her as my baby. It was a very traumatic week for me. I spent most of the week crying or in bed. I’m slowly starting to get into a new routine without my dog but it’s been challenging. I miss her a lot and everything reminds me of her. I’m going on vacation for two weeks at the end of the months so I’m hoping that getting out of the house will help improve my mental health a bit. That being said, I probably won’t get much done as far as goals this month. Here is Amazon Merch on Demand’s July 2024 income report.
July 2024 Income Report
In July 2024, I made $71.64 with 21 sales and 6 cancellations for a total of 15 sales. I also had 2 returns. I have 500 designs uploaded to 7,655 products. I only sold 1 product in June – 15 standard t-shirts. I only sold shirts in the USA although I have the designs uploaded to other countries.
I also spent money on advertising in July – a lot of money compared to last month. I spent more than double the money in July as I did in June. I think this paid off though as I also doubled the amount of sales. I spent $20.97 and had 9 sales for an ACOS of 11.22% (really good!!). Despite spending more money, I’m extremely happy with my advertising for July.
Total Amazon Merch on Demand Income for July 2024: $50.67
Previous Month’s Earnings
June 2024: $41.19
May 2024: $26.37
April 2024: $34.64
What Did I Do In July?
I decided on what niche I want to focus on for my social media marketing strategy. You can see my thought process here: Amazon Merch On Demand – Let’s Pick A Niche! I think this is going to be a very profitable niche and I’m ready to start working on it.
Goals for August 2024
- Create a brand name to use in my social media marketing strategy.
- Find 10 puns, quotes or jokes to use on t-shirts in my niche.
I decided to only choose 2 goals for this month and they are very easy goals. I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to work on them so I don’t want to make goals that will take forever to complete. There’s only two weeks left in the month and on one of those weeks, I’m going to be in Alaska on vacation. The other week will probably be spent running errands, cleaning and packing for the trip. I’m also still working on the AI project and I have KDP and Etsy goals to complete. I think these two goals, even though they are easy, are big steps in my marketing plan.
