September and the last few weeks of October have been extremely busy for me. I was able to get some work done on Merch though. In fact, I completed all of the goals I set in September (which was only 1 but I’m still proud of myself). Before we get into goals, let’s see how much I earned in September on Merch on Demand (spoiler: it was a record-setting month).
September 2024 Income Report
In September 2024, I made $176.86 with 33 sales and 1 returns for a total of 32 sales. I had 0 cancellations. I have 500 designs uploaded to 7,655 products. I sold 15 unique designs across 3 different products in August – 30 standard t-shirts, 1 zip hoodie and 1 tote bag. The 1 return was a standard t-shirt. I only sold products in the USA although I have the designs uploaded to other countries.
I spent almost double the money on advertising in September as I did in August. I spent $45.36 and had 14 sales for an ACOS of 15.44%. I am extremely happy with these numbers. My ACOS is amazing and even though I spent almost double on ads compared to August, I sold almost triple the amount of shirts. I really hope October is just as good.

What Did I Do In September?
I didn’t do much but I used ChatGPT to come up with a list of 10 puns, quotes and jokes related to the niche I choose. It was a lot easier than I thought. I’m not sure if these quotes or puns are going to be winners but I won’t know unless I try.
Goals for September 2024
- Create 1 design for each of the 10 quotes, jokes or puns.
This should be an easy goal, especially if I utilize AI to do it. I would like to have at least one design for each quote, joke or pun I came up with. I currently have 350 shirts sold and I need to get to 500 shirts sold before I’m tiered up to T1000. If I sell 25-30 shirts a month, it will take me 3-5 months to tier up. I would like to have at least 25 designs for each quote, joke or pun ready to go by the time I get tiered up. I’m hoping that Q4 brings me lots of sales so I can get tiered up faster.
