July 2024 – Etsy Store Income Report

I mentioned this in the last post but the last two weeks have been extremely difficult for me. My almost 10 year old dog, Remington, got very sick and I had to put her down. I’ve had her since she was a puppy so this loss was heartbreaking. I miss her so much. I’m slowly starting to get back to regular life and a new daily routine without my girl. Someday I’d like to get another dog but first, I need to make more money. Dogs are expensive! It’s definitely motivation to reach my Etsy, Merch and KDP income goals. Here’s my July 2024 Etsy income report:

July 2024 Income Report

In July, I made $49.18 from 9 orders. I had 292 visits which gives me a conversion rate of 3.1%. I’m okay with these stats. They aren’t the best but I haven’t added any new listings to my store in over a year so I can’t expect much.

I do not spend money on advertising, however, Etsy does their own advertising and they take out listing fees. The listing fees were $10.00 and their marketing fee was $0.90.

Total Etsy Income for July 2024: $38.28

Previous Month’s Earnings

June 2024: $30.00
May 2024: $46.39
April 2024: $36.36

What Did I Do In July?

I finished updating the size of the thumbnails on the listings in my store. I started that a few months ago but never got finished. Now all of the thumbnails are the same size. It makes my storefront look much better. I also started making display images and videos for some of the products I created. I unfortunately didn’t get 10 new products created nor did I get 25 display images and videos completed. I think I only did about 10 display images and videos.

Goals for August 2024

  • Create 10 new items
  • Create display images for 25 items
  • Create display videos for 25 items

I’m making the same goals in August as I did in July. I won’t have much time to work on these goals but I think I can get them complete. I’m leaving on vacation to Alaska soon so I’ll only have a week to get these goals complete. That should be enough time if I do a little each day.
